Own server or shared hosting — what fits your project?

Shared hosting is cheap and perfectly fine for small sites with modest traffic. But once multiple projects, higher traffic, or special requirements (custom cron jobs, specific PHP versions, database tuning) enter the picture, shared hosting hits its limits.

The biggest difference: on a shared server you compete with hundreds of other customers for the same CPU and RAM resources — one overloaded neighbour can noticeably slow down your load times. A dedicated or root server belongs to you alone.

Our rule of thumb: if your business already runs through the website (shop, bookings, multiple client projects), a dedicated server is usually the more economical choice — not for raw compute power, but for control and stability.
